Sul gioco d’azzardo il governo prova a girar pagina. ”La ludopatia sarà presto, prestissimo considerata a tutti gli effetti una malattia”. Lo annuncia il ministro della Salute Renato Balduzzi, nell’osservare che ”negli Stati Uniti è cosi’ da 30 anni, in Italia ancora no. Ma nelle prossime settimane si rivisiteranno i livelli essenziali di assistenza (Lea) e la ludopatia sarà nell’elenco delle patologie”.

La decisione, precisa Balduzzi, sarà d’intesa col sistema delle Regioni e si concretizzerà poi con un decreto del presidente del Consiglio dei ministri. ”Cambierà tutto – afferma – ci sarà una prevenzione, un’assistenza, verranno rafforzati i servizi nelle Asl; insomma uno svolta concreta”.

Cambio di marcia anche sulla pubblicità: ”i tecnici del ministero dell’Economia – spiega Balduzzi – stanno lavorando perchè non vogliamo più vedere uno spot dove si dice che chi non gioca è un bacchettone. Proibire non è la soluzione, ma nemmeno spingere al gioco in questo modo”.

Nel governo, conclude il ministro Balduzzi, ”c’è una preoccupazione reale e corale, e siamo tutti pronti a pretendere rigore. La strada non è proibire, è regolamentare. I minori in particolare saranno protetti, e non ‘sfregiati’ con spot che raccontano che ‘una vincita può cambiarti la vita’. Questi non ci dovranno essere più. E chi non si adeguerà perderà la concessione”.
