Le rughe stressano le donne più del lavoro

Per le donne, le rughe stressano più del lavoro e in qualche caso anche della famiglia: per una cinquantenne su tre, infatti, i segni dell’invecchiamento producono ansia e insicurezza. Lo afferma il chirurgo estetico Giulio Basoccu, responsabile della Divisione di Chirurgia Plastica Estetica e Ricostruttiva dell’INI, Istituto Neurotraumatologico Italiano.

”Abbiamo proposto a 300 donne tra i 45 e i 55 anni – spiega – di partecipare ad un sondaggio attraverso il quale volevamo capire in che misura i segni dell’invecchiamento possono creare problemi. Abbiamo pensato ad una scala di situazioni in grado di attivare stress: lavoro, gestione della famiglia, routine quotidiana, rapporto con il coniuge, segni dell’invecchiamento”.

Il risultato è stato che per una donna su tre le rughe stressano in misura notevole: ”Per la maggior parte delle donne – sottolinea Basoccu – fonte di stress sono soprattutto lavoro e famiglia, come ci aspettavamo, ma i segni dell’invecchiamento vengono comunque messi al terzo posto tra le situazioni che danno ansia, seguite dal rapporto con il coniuge e dalla routine quotidiana”.

Chi ha messo le rughe al primo posto come maggiore fonte si stress, dice Basoccu, ”ritiene che sentirsi bene con se stessi sia fondamentale per poi affrontare con più energia le altre situazioni della vita. E per molte donne, superati i 45 anni, l’aspetto fisico è importante. Mantenersi in forma, cercando di combattere i segni del’invecchiamento, evita ad una donna di deprimersi; guardarsi allo specchio e piacersi dà tranquillità, aumenta l’autostima”.

Secondo l’esperto, questo spiega anche l’aumento in questi ultimi anni di interventi di chirurgia e medicina estetica che ”possono aiutare ad invecchiare meglio, come minilifting, fillers, botox”.
