All’ospedale ‘Molinette’ di Torino usate con successo le staminali per riparare le ferite

Sperimentate con successo all’ospedale Molinette di Torino le cellule staminali nel processo di guarigione delle ferite. In uno studio condotto da un gruppo multidisciplinare torinese degli ospedali Molinette e Mauriziano le cellule staminali del midollo osseo sono state, infatti, mobilizzate “per agevolare la guarigione di estese asportazioni di tessuto dovute alla presenza di cisti sacro-coccige, complicate da numerosi tragitti fistolosi, e recidive di precedenti interventi”.
I risultati ottenuti, pubblicati dalla rivista internazionale ‘Cytotherapy’, hanno mostrato “un accorciamento sensibile dei periodi di guarigione rispetto ai pazienti non sottoposti a stimolazione midollare delle proprie cellule staminali”. I ricercatori sottolineano, inoltre, come nello studio, approvato dal comitato etico dell’ospedale Molinette, non si siano verificati effetti collaterali negativi
e come la metodica risulti fattibile e sicura.
Fino a ora le applicazioni cliniche per quanto riguarda le staminali, si rileva, sono state scarse e circoscritte all’impiego in particolari casi di malattie del sangue. La collaborazione tra due gruppi universitari della Scuola di Medicina dell’Università di Torino, uno chirurgico condotto dal professor Carlomaria Fronticelli (Oncologia chirurgica dell’ospedale Molinette di Torino), e l’altro dal professor Corrado Tarella (direttore dell’Ematologia e Terapie Cellulari dell’ospedale Mauriziano), ha consentito di trasferire queste
ricerche nella pratica clinica.
“Il processo – si sottolinea dall’ospedale torinese – in sè è semplice: si tratta di stimolare particolari cellule presenti nel midollo osseo di
ciascuno, facenti parte della grande famiglia delle cellule staminali, ad accorrere là dove si sta verificando un processo di guarigione. Se il processo di guarigione è molto ampio questo richiederà grande sforzo da parte dell’organismo e soprattutto tempi lunghi per la sua riparazione. La stimolazione avviene attraverso la somministrazione di fattori di crescita, già ampiamente studiati nella patologia umana, che attivano e mobilizzano le cellule staminali del proprio midollo osseo che accorrono in massa nella sede del processo di
guarigione”.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
I do love the manner in which you have presented this particular matter and it really does give me personally a lot of fodder for consideration. Nonetheless, through everything that I have observed, I only wish as the responses pack on that folks continue to be on point and in no way get started upon a tirade associated with some other news du jour. Yet, thank you for this superb piece and whilst I can not necessarily concur with this in totality, I value the standpoint.
